Oxford Partial Knee

En 1974, John Goodfellow & John O'Connor ont déposé le brevet de la prothèse à ménisque mobile (1). Le design du ménisque congruent de la prothèse Oxford assure une surface de contact maximum et minimise l’usure du polyéthylène (2)(3). L’indication de la prothèse Oxford est l’arthrose interne (4)(5).

  • Contact sphérique et congruence parfaite entre fémur et ménisque mobile (surface de contact : 680 mm²) quelque soit le degré de flexion ou de rotation du genou
     
  • Déplacement libre du patin méniscal respectant la cinématique imposée par les 2 compartiments sains (fémoro-patellaire et fémoro-tibial controlatéral) et par la dynamique ligamentaire
     
  • A cimenter
     
  • 4 tailles de fémur pour une bonne adaptation au patient
     
  • 6 tailles de tibia avec un design anatomique permettant une couverture osseuse maximale (11)
